JD Side/Stool

Furniture piece inspired by a friend's (JD) appreciation for the plywood edge/layered effect from several of the accent mirror frame series.
Constructed from mostly scrap and
non-finish style building materials...
Yet, using these materials in traditional furniture building ways. Most notably, using OSB (a particle wood product) on the edge of the legs.  Usually this cap would be a more prominent, hard wood accent. The table top/seat is shaped and stained to accent the layers of plywood, again, a feature usually hidden in finish furniture.
This top is made to look like a jewel, the remaining form its setting... the entire form representing a precious object, while at it's core it is made from waste.
